Addressing the critical need for intelligent port equipment management, this project proposes a comprehensive integrated smart operation and maintenance system covering the entire lifecycle of port handling equipment.
The company independently developed an intelligent operation and maintenance system for port handling equipment, establishing a comprehensive 3D visualization platform that integrates simulation, monitoring, early warning, positioning, and analysis for 149 types of port equipment. Focusing on real-time monitoring of critical components such as steel structures of large port cranes, trolley wheels, tracks, pulleys, and transmission parts, the system has transformed the operational approach from “periodic inspections” to “real-time monitoring” and shifted from “post-event repairs” to “preventive maintenance,” thereby enabling data to perform more tasks while reducing technical personnel’s field visits.
This initiative has cut unplanned downtime by 80% and lowered operational costs per unit by 15%, effectively breaking down information silos and data barriers while integrating production, operations, and management processes to interconnect humans, machinery, and assets. The project encompasses areas including edge computing-based fault diagnosis solutions, big data analytics, and equipment management software development, providing robust support for advancing digital transformation in port equipment management and building world-class technology-driven ports.
