Workshops chart course for WPSP implementation

The second day of the WPSP Launch Event consisted of a series of interactive workshops organised along the five major themes of the Program: resilient infrastructure, climate and energy, community outreach and city-port dialogue, safety and security and governance and ethics. The multi-disciplinary composition and professional moderation of the sessions proved to be highly productive, yielding a first list of concrete project proposals that will help charting the course of WPSP. The range of proposals is diverse, from intelligent last-mile planning tools for ships to a campaign that promotes gender and cultural diversity in port authority boards. WPSP Partners will meet in April to discuss the output of the workshops.
